So the next my trip is to Maldives.
![]() The Travel Companies describe this place as a paradisiacal corner with the untouched nature. In fact like in the places where human beings managed to settle – the nature has changed a lot, and those changes are not to the best. A way pavement hurts the flora and fauna to the same level as a deep cut on your flesh does. ![]() No one would agree for a deep cut on the leg, to exemplify, but so easily people start construction of the roads and buildings where there is no place for them. ![]() Those coming here for diving every year at a run notice with sadness the coral destruction in the places where the crowds of divers appeared and destroyed everything, what was so unlucky to fall under their feet. The tourists bring money to these areas and thus the construction of the new hotels and roads cannot be stopped. Quite pity. ![]() The purpose of my trip was not Male Atoll or Laamu Atoll, but one of the islands. Certainly all of them have been already visited by humans and adventure-makers, but there is still hope that I will manage to find at least one with no obvious tracks of humans! Maldives - Part II |
